The problem

The chains have an app. You've been told you can't.

Every dev shop quoted you $25K to build one and $2K/month to keep it alive. Meanwhile Chipotle's app is doing 40% of their digital sales. Your regulars would install yours in a heartbeat — if it existed. Here's the math: one 500-guest push notification, one time, on a slow Tuesday pays for the whole year.

How OrdersUp handles it

Turn it on. Walk away.

Real App Store + Play Store listing

Not a PWA, not a shortcut. A native app that shows up when someone searches your restaurant name on their phone. We handle Apple + Google developer enrollment, submission, and every review cycle.

Push notifications that actually convert

Slow Tuesday? One tap fires 'Free chips w/ any $20 order until 8pm' to every installed user. Push is 6–10x the open rate of email. Order-ready alerts, delivery tracking, loyalty milestones — all in the same channel.

One-tap reorder, saved cards, saved addresses

Regulars install once and never type a card number again. Their usual order is one tap from the home screen. Their delivery address is remembered. Checkout is Face ID.

We keep it alive — forever

iOS ships an update; we recompile. Google changes an API; we handle it. You change the menu; the app updates instantly. No 'the app is broken' calls to a dev shop that ghosted you three years ago.

Straight answers

Common questions.

How is this different from the branded PWA?

The PWA (included with online ordering) is a home-screen shortcut — great, cheap, works fine. This is a real native app: showable in the App Store when someone searches your name, discoverable by 'restaurants near me' features on iOS, and eligible for App Store featuring. If you want a shelf presence, this is the one.

How long does it take to get in the App Store?

4–6 weeks from kickoff. Apple review is 1–3 days once we submit; the timeline is mostly branding, screenshots, and Apple's developer enrollment (which requires a D-U-N-S number in your business name — we handle it).

Who owns the app and the developer accounts?

You do. The developer accounts are enrolled in your business name. If you ever leave OrdersUp, the app and the store listings stay with you.

What if Apple rejects it?

That's on us. We do the resubmissions, the copy tweaks, the metadata fixes — as many rounds as it takes. Restaurants are one of Apple's smoother review categories, but if there's ever a problem, you don't lift a finger.

Can we run push campaigns from the dashboard?

Yes. Same place you run SMS blasts. Segment by 'ordered in the last 30 days,' 'birthday this month,' 'hasn't opened the app in 60 days,' whatever. Fire and forget.
