SMS Terms & Conditions
Last updated: July 23, 2026
OrdersUp provides SMS messaging tools that restaurants use to communicate with their guests. These SMS Terms explain how consent, opt-out, and carrier terms work for text messages you receive from a restaurant that uses OrdersUp. Individual restaurants may layer their own privacy notice on top of these terms.
Program description
You may receive text messages from a restaurant that uses OrdersUp for purposes such as: order confirmations and updates, reservation confirmations and reminders, appointment reminders, review requests, promotional offers, birthday and win-back messages, and general updates from the restaurant. Message content is set by the restaurant.
Consent
By providing your mobile number to a participating restaurant (online, at the counter, through a form, at check-in, or during an order), you consent to receive recurring automated text messages at that number from the restaurant, sent via OrdersUp. Consent is not required as a condition of any purchase. Message and data rates may apply.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies based on the restaurant's activity and your interactions with them. Most guests receive a few messages per month.
Opt-out — STOP
You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any text message from the restaurant. After you send STOP, we will send one final confirmation message and stop sending you texts from that restaurant. Opting out of one restaurant does not opt you out of other restaurants that use OrdersUp.
Help — HELP
For help, reply HELP to any message, or contact the restaurant directly. You can also email support@getordersup.com.
Carrier fees
Message and data rates may apply based on your mobile plan. Supported carriers include AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, U.S. Cellular, Boost, MetroPCS, Cricket, and most other U.S. carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy
Information you share with the restaurant is handled per that restaurant's privacy practices and our Privacy Policy. We do not sell mobile numbers or SMS opt-in data.
For restaurants using OrdersUp
If you send SMS through OrdersUp, you are the sender and are legally responsible under the TCPA, CAN-SPAM, A2P 10DLC registration requirements, and state law. You must: (a) collect valid express written consent before sending marketing texts; (b) present these SMS terms and your privacy policy at the point of consent; (c) honor STOP requests immediately; (d) include your business name in every campaign message; and (e) keep records of consent for at least 4 years. OrdersUp provides tooling, but you own compliance for every message you send.
